Peace and Quiet & Day 66. 299 Days Left.

I love peace and quiet.

It allows the opportunity to cook dinner, unload the dishwasher, fold a load of laundry or vacuum the house. It gives us a brief moment of not hearing “mommy, mommy, mommy” repeated until all meaning is lost or having to listen to whining, bickering, screaming or crying.

Yes, I love peace and quiet.

What I don’t love is cleaning up after peace and quiet.

Thanks for posting these pics...Yep! That's going to be what my son will be doing SOON. Very SOON! He's a crawling machine & loves to play under our dining room table and mess with our entertainment center - SO FAR that is all he is into. Lesson: I should enjoy the peace & quiet now. Cynthia

Ahhhh! The photo of Jackson with all the paint all over him and the floor is crazy! LOL! Then I scroll down to see the others - omg - just too funny! My day is coming... I know it.

Look how proud he looks with his wet little face! He's thinking, "Well, lookit what I can do!" Too cute!

That is so hilariously true! I dread peace and quiet from a three year old. I would love to get pictures of my son in the middle of his quiet time chaos so that in later years when Mothers Day rolls around and he's got a job, I'll start reminding him of what a terror he put me through and how I could really use a pretty diamond necklace to make up for it ;-P

Ok, I didn't quite get it at first...Newbie Mom that I am. FEAR the aftermath of the "peace & quiet". Duh. Man, I've got a lot to learn.

yes, with toddlers there is the scary quiet- when they accomplish everything your son has.
